The MountainRose Vineyard(s) website (the "Website") is owned by MountainRose Vineyard. Your use of the Website and purchase of any wines or other products listed on the Website ("Products"), is governed by the policies, terms, and conditions set forth below. Please read them carefully. By using the Website or making a purchase on the Website, you indicate your acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, the terms and conditions set forth below. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use the Website and do not submit any orders for Products on this Website. These terms and conditions, in conjunction with the terms and conditions that are specified in the order process, supersede any prior or subsequent terms or conditions wherever they may appear. MountainRose Vineyard(s) reserves the right to make changes to the Website and to these terms and conditions at any time. Any such modifications will become effective upon the date they are first posted to the Website.

Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors prior to shipping and with approval of the buyer.

Internet Order Processing

Internet orders are subject to credit card verification and are processed in 1 - 3 days, this processing time does not include shipping days. All orders are subject to availability and limited to stock on hand. We make every effort to fill orders completely. We ask for your understanding when a product or vintage becomes unavailable and we will gladly recommend a similar wine.

Shipping Information

We make every effort to ship your order as quickly as possible. Please allow fourteen (14) days for delivery of in-stock items. Items ordered together are not necessarily shipped together. We will notify you if any item cannot be shipped within 30 days. All items are shipped via ground shipping. Our wine shipping packages are in 2, 4, 6, and 12 bottle sizes. Please order in these shipping quantities to minimize your shipping cost. We DO NOT accept orders nor do we ship outside the United States, and due to state laws prohibiting the shipment of wine across state lanes, we can only ship orders to the following states:  AK, FL, ID, LA, MN, MO, NE, NV, NH, NM, ND, OH, OR, DC, WV, WY, VA. Please note that an adult's signature (21 years or older) is required for all wine deliveries.

Age Restriction

Wines may be sold only to persons at least 21 years of age. By placing an order, you are warranting to us that you are 21 years of age. Wines may be delivered only to persons at least 21 years of age. Our shippers will require a signature of someone at least 21 years of age at the time of delivery. Positive ID may be required. If the wine is returned to us for failure to provide positive proof of age, the customer is responsible for paying the return shipping charges. MRV requires that each order contain the correct name, billing address, CVC code and zip code for the credit card used. If the information you provide is not an exact match, we will not process your order and accept no liability regarding your order or timeliness of delivery. To review your contact information or preferences, please sign into your account and verify that your information is correct.

Returns and Exchanges

MountainRose Vineyards, Inc. is committed to the complete satisfaction of our customers. We want to hear about any problems you may experience with our ordering process or our products. We strive to deliver high quality products with reliable shipping services so you might receive your order as quickly as possible. If you are not satisfied with your order for any reason, please let us know right away. Should any product be damaged during shipment, please email us at swlawson@comcast.net or call us at 276-328-2013 within 24 hours of receipt of the goods so we can pursue a claim with the shipping company. Please do not send any return without contacting us first for instructions. By law, we are only allowed to accept returns of wines that were shipped in error or are obviously defective due to spoilage. For this reason, please discuss your wine choices with one of us or read the descriptions on our web site. We consider all of our wines suitable for consumption at the time of their release. Though most wines will improve with proper aging before reaching their peak of perfection, the overall quality of any wine can also be adversely affected by improper storage conditions. Important influences to any wine’s aging include the type of wine itself, temperature, humidity and lighting of the storage area, as well as the location and/or position of the bottle. As most of these conditions are beyond our control, returns will be accepted only with a valid receipt or order number and only within thirty days of purchase. If you acquired our wines from one of our retailers, please contact them about your purchase.


A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the user would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use our site. The only drawback to this is that the user will be limited in some areas of our site. Some of our business partners use cookies on our site (for example, advertisers). However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.
