Perfect for the fourth of July!
Bring the wine and sugar to boil in a small saucepan, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Boil for 2 minutes.
Remove from the heat.
Combine the fruit and mint in a large bowl. Strain out mint.
Pour the warm wine mixture over fruit and toss to coat fruit.
Cover & refrigerate until cold, stirring occasionally for a minimum of 2 hours. Dress with fresh mint leaves.
Fruit can be varied and watermelon is also a great choice!
