Mulled Wine Christmas Wassail

Perfect for the Holiday Season

Ingredients

bottle of pardee red or sweet mountainrose wine
1
bottle of apple juice (up to 32 oz.)
1⁄4 c
sugar to taste (may add up to 1/2 cup depending on taste
2 T
mulling spices in bag (may add up to 3 tbsp depending on preference)
2
orange or lemon slices (Optional, but gives the mulled wine complexity)

Instructions

Heat the mixture in a large pot. If using a crockpot, you will need to start and allow for 6 hours cooking time. Do not boil. Add lemon or orange slices and wine about 30 minutes before serving. Serve very warm. Description: For Sweet MountainRose or Pardee Red. 

Notes

May add orange or lemon slices for decoration.
