Raisin Bread French Toast Casserole

Surprise your family with this incredible breakfast treat that could double as dessert for dinner!

cinnamon raisin bread (cubed)
8 oz
cream cheese (cubed & melted)
1 1⁄2 c
half & half cream
1⁄2 c
1⁄2 c
mountainrose maple syrup
2 T
vanilla extract
1 T
ground cinnamon
1⁄8 t
ground nutmeg


Place half of the bread cubes in a greased 13 x 9 in. baking dish. Top with cream cheese and remaining bread. In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Pour over top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. 

Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15-20 minutes longer or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Lightly drizzle a bit of syrup over top and serve!
