Mulled Wine - Cranberry Orange

A new tasty twist on an old favorite! 


1 c
fresh cranberries
bottle of blair white or pardee red
32 oz
cranberry juice
1⁄4 c
sugar (may add 1/2 c, depending on taste)
2 T
mulling spices in bag (may add up to 3 tbsp depending on preference)
orange slices


Heat the mixture in a large pot. If using a crock-pot, you will need to start and allow for 6 hours cooking time. Do not boil. Add cranberries (crushed with ¼ c sugar), orange slices and wine about 30 minutes before serving. Serve very warm.
