Late Winter News

Many thanks to the 70+ people who joined us for tours, a variety of pancakes, maple syrup, cotton candy and other delicious maple treats in February at our Maple Syrup Fest!  We boiled almost 1000 gallons of sap to get a little more than 12 gallons to sell in 8 and 16 oz. jugs. We still have some available at the winery if you didn’t make it to the festival. Creamy and delicious…we licked the pots clean!

Our new Riesling and Darby were bottled with a fun group of volunteers this week.  After we finished we celebrated with lunch together.  We have the best winery friends anywhere! Our Riesling will be released on March 17th for St. Patrick’s Day, with a pre-release for Wine Club Members on March 10th!

On St. Pat’s we will also announce the winner of the Name Our Bear contest. Visit soon to have your picture taken with our Bear Creek bear and give us a name suggestion. The winner will receive a MRV Surprise Package on the 17th!

We will offer our annual Grape Vine Pruning Workshop on March 31 at 1pm. This event includes some discussion and practice and you can take home free cuttings!  Call the winery to register for this informative free seminar with David!
