Private Events

Located in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, MountainRose Vineyards provides everything needed to make your event unforgettable. Guests will enjoy 360° mountain views, a rural farm setting with pastoral surrounding and last but not least, award winning wines. We offer sufficient parking, clean restrooms, a catering area, and can accommodate events of varying sizes in four locations:

The Pond -This lawn area at the northwest corner of the pond is picturesque with the vineyard surrounding the pond and the roses on the vineyard rows. The bride may process down a vineyard row and meet her groom with the pond in the background. This area is appropriate for small groups of 50 or fewer.

The Patio and Lawn-This area at the front of the winery can accommodate up to 100 people with ease and features the pond on one side and the winery on the other with potted flowers generously placed and some permanent seating.  This area is also suitable for tenting for a reception. This area is available only after 6:00 pm.

The Amphitheater-The native stone wall surrounded by beautiful landscaping with the vineyard rows in the background is a beautiful setting for the perfect wedding and/or reception. The reception area boasts a tented area for serving and dining. The hard crushed stone walkway and area in front of the wall are excellent for an outdoor wedding. This area is the most private and can seat up to 150 for a wedding. The tented area provides a more comfortable weather scenario.

The Tasting Room-Smaller events, up to 40 people, are perfect for our Tasting Room space. With seating areas near the fireplace and tables by the windows overlooking our pond and mountains, the room offers a great natural flow for social events. This is an intimate and special space that will impress all your guests. Events in this space are limited to begin after 6pm.
